RE: Corporate Welcome Page & The Desktop Policy ~Emile Feznuzenoni 12.Jan.04 03:22 PM a Web browser General 6.0.2 CF1Windows XP
Many thanks. Could I just go through this exactly and you tell me if I'm doing it wrong. It still does not seem to be working.
So I do all this in the Notes client. Not the administrator so I can get a grey tab which says "Desktop Settings: " and a grey tab which says "welcome" which is the welcome page of my welcome page database. (And there's also the grey tab which says "Workspace". All these grey tabs are towards the top of the screen below the tool bar icons.
So, I click on the "Desktop Settings:" grey tab (which goes from grey to white when I click it)and edit the Desktop Settings document.(The "Corporate Welcome Pages database:" field is now waiting to be filled)
I then click on the "Welcome" grey tab (which has a little house icon on it) and drag it to the "Corporate Welcome Pages database:" field (using the left mouse button).
And in the "Corporate Welcome Pages database:" field a little blue book icon appears.
So far so good.
But when I then click on the "Default Welcome Page:" field just below, I still only get the "No default welcome page" option and none of the welcome pages from my welcome page database are there for me to select. Even when I save and close and reopen the Desktop setting document.
